Tomorrow the German parliament will vote on the erection of technical measures for censoring the internet. Even more than 130,000 signers of a petition against internet censorship couldn’t change the views of the bastards in the grand coalition of CDU and SPD. It a clear sign our politicians don’t know how the internet functions nor understand the modern life of modern people like me, to which the internet is not only an important part of my life, but also my means of earning money for my living. Spiegel Online dubbed this generation of people “Generation C64” in one of their latest articles (well, I started with a Commodore VC20).
It’s time to get rid of our politicians! Send them to hell!

Well, 2009 is certainly not my year of choice. Since January I was laboring with a stye on my left eyelid, which thankfully after various treatments and the threat of surgical removal decided to become a lot smaller.
And since a few weeks I got a conjunctivitis, commonly called pink eye. It got worse over the last days, I looked like I had a fight with Mike Tyson. The doc’s treatment so far didn’t help much and now I got two new ointments which I hope help to restore my graceful, pretty face.
Conjunctivitis sucks!

Remember the 4th June 1989 when Chinas regime brutally crushed the pro-democratic student protests on the Tian’anmen Square. And what does China’s government do today? They cut off most of the new communication and information services available on the net (e.g. Twitter). They seem to fear their own people and keep them disinformed. Well, China is the role model even democratic government seem to aspire to when Internet and free access to information and not-politcal correct opinions are mentioned.
